The Von Braun Center is situated in the city of Huntsville, the state of Alabama. Until 1997, it was referred to as Von Braun Civic Center. The center consists of the Von Braun Center Arena that hosts sports events and the Von Braun Center Concert Hall reserved to hosting performing arts events.

The Von Braun Center start operation in 1975 and since then it has undergone different renovations and expansions including the refurbishment of 2008 that cost nearly million. The center is named after a German rocket scientist Dr. Wernher von Braun. Since its opening, the facility has hosted great events including concerts of big names such as Elvis Presley who stopped there for 5 performances in 1975.
